Message from Superintendent Caleris: Updated Results on the School Improvement Bond Issue

Dear Brooklyn City Schools Community,

This past Monday, the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections finalized the results from the March Primary Election that included the $20 million School Improvement Bond Issue for the Brooklyn City Schools. On behalf of the Brooklyn City Schools and Board of Education, I write to report that the Bond Issue has officially PASSED and the election result will be certified by the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections on April 22. 2024.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to our students, parents, staff, elected city officials and school community for your ongoing support, trust in our operations, and belief in the educational experience our District provides. The passage of this bond issue will enhance our school facilities and will truly elevate the amenities and resources available for students, staff, and the community for decades to come!

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me directly. Thank you for your continued support of the Brooklyn City Schools. It is a great day to be a Hurricane!

Best regards,

Dr. Theodore Caleris
